Bon Voyage Marathon

Watching the weather and hoping to untie and start the engines Tuesday March 27th and head North on the ICW. Doing all last minute checks and adding supplies.
We have made so many new friends and great memories in Marathon. There has been so many fun happy hours every night and potluck dinners on Sunday and so many stories to share.
Now we are ready to start our journey again, and back to Charleston to be with old friends and family.
We had several friends visit us while here. Bob and Joyce Wright came for a week and we did all  the tourist things we could.  According to Dennis, Bob caught more fish than he does in Charleston and we had a great fish fry. A coworker of Dennis' Gary and wife Jo came for the Marathon seafood festival. We ate and drank as much as we could. Our son David and his friend Kyle were able to make a trip down before we left.  They also fished as much as possible and went to Key West to the Southern most point.  It was fun to have friends and family visit, if we return hopefully more can make it to the Keys to visit.

We will anchor out our first couple nights then dock at Lighthouse Point again for a last visit with Aunt Jean.  We are going to make a few stops before Fernandina MTOA meeting.  Fort Pierce and Daytona for a few days between anchoring out. Then onward to Charleston at the Bristol marina hopefully into slip 19-A.

Stay tuned for further updates as we travel North.  Pray for calm winds and smooth seas for Miss Cameron.
